This photograph was used to help students recall the presence of patterns in our daily lives, and how those repeating patterns have deep historical roots. Mrs. Woods helped to ignite a passion for learning in me that only continues to blaze. She also helped to develop my literacy skills, such that, I am unaware of a period where I could not read or decode even the simplest words. On a personal note, it was at her school where I socialzed with a handful of friends that I am still in contact with today.
